Requirements to receive scholarship

Essay

200 word essay.

Subjects include: Civil Rights, Social Justice, & Community Building

Acceptance Letter

From college, university or job training facility

Ages 15-25

you do not have to be a high school student to receive. 

Proof of ID

voter registration, driver's license, GED and/or high school diploma

Categories to include students from 5 areas:

- Fellowship Chapel Church Member

- Northwestern High School Student

- NAACP Detroit Branch ACTSO, Art Essay, Youth Council Participant

- Wayne County Community College District Student

- Wheeler Family Member

Scholarship amounts will be $500 and $1000 in each area ($7500 each year), with 2 winners in each category.
